"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who
reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us
the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ,
not counting men’s sins against them.
And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation."
2 Cor 5:17-19[NIV]
Don't just believe it,
Hello, as most of you will be aware over the past two weeks Bethan and myself took a trip to Soul Survivor for the first time. Over the two weeks we have learnt a lot about ourselves and God. Something that was taught was that our walk with God is not easy. People think that when we ask Jesus to come into our lives that it is going to be plain sailing from there on in. These people couldn't be more wrong. We are all faced with the struggle of greed, lust, anger, temptation and many other things all of these being sin. We see sin all around us on a daily basis. We wouldn't be
human if we didn't mess up, but the thing about knowing God is that he sent Jesus to die for our sins so that we can go and be with him in heaven. God loves us with all of our mess, pain, hurt and difficulties. God will
never leave us or forsake us no matter how much we think we have messed up. We just have to make ourselves vulnerable and say we are sorry, then start fresh. Something that I struggle with is continuing to overthink things even after I have apologized I forget that I get a clean slate. So something that we all need to remember is that God is more powerful than any earthly problem that we may have!

Jesus in Gethsemane (Part 2) - Matt 26:36-46
“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”…
...Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”
Matt 26:39, 45,46 [NLT]
We can often find ourselves in situations where we may be able to pray the first part of Jesus’ prayer… “may this cup be taken from me”. When we pray it , it probably sounds a bit more like “Why me?” or “What have I done to
deserve this?”. Jesus had done no wrong. He knew what was ahead He had come to save mankind—that was his heart. Yet in the middle of the plan… as things were pressing in, Jesus says may this cup be taken from me. Do I have to do this… Is this the only way… Maybe we like Jesus have become
Christians… the desire is there… the understanding of the need and the
importance of Salvation for ourselves and others. But when all is pressing in, we say “why me what have I done to deserve it… do I have to… May this cup be taken from me… Is there an easier way?”. But because of Jesus
submission to God and His plan, He continues with “Yet not my will, but as you will”. Is our submission to God and His plan such that we can pray this second part and commit to endure for the greatest cause that we can give ourselves to? that we and others may know and walk in the fullness of His plan. For the joy set before him he endured the cross! Will you?

Christian Solidarity Worldwide is an organization working through
advocacy and human rights in the pursuit of justice. According to the
latest figures from the UN Refugee Agency almost 5 million Syrians have been forced to flee Syria during the time that conflict has ravaged the country. Another 6 million have been displaced internally. UN
Secretary General Ban Ki-moon issued a statement describing the plight of Syrian refugees as the biggest refugee crisis of our time. CSW
believes that there should be a UN investigation into genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Syria and a UN presence on the ground in the form of a stabilization force
